Apply For Service

Select below "Residential Form" or "Commercial Form" link to submit your application for service.  You can use the "Finish Later" button if you cannot finish the application all in one setting. Once completed we will be in contact with you to complete the process. 

  • You will need to submit a legible copy of your valid government-issued ID.
  • Credit will be verified to determine if a security deposit is required. Prepaid Metering is an option if a security deposit is required.

Become a Citizens Electric Corporation Shareholder

Being part of a co-op allows you the right to vote for our board of directors representing your county. We value our members and encourage everyone to invest a small $5 fee, which is considered stock in the Corporation, allowing your vote. The fee is transferable within the service territory and refundable upon exit.

New Construction:

If you need electric service extended to a new service location that has not existed before, you may request that service by calling (877) 876-3511 or visit our new construction web page. This includes newly constructed homes and businesses.
