Serving as an electric cooperative director involves far more than attending monthly meetings or approving routine business matters. Citizens Electric Corporation proudly recognizes Board Director Thomas Keim for earning the Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD) Certificate through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s director education program.

Keim earned this distinction by completing five courses focused on foundational governance knowledge and essential skills for cooperative directors. The training covers director duties and liabilities, board operations and processes, strategic planning, and financial decision-making.
