Citizens Electric Awards 2026 Scholarships to Local Students
Citizens Electric Corporation is proud to recognize this year’s scholarship recipients for their outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.
Through its annual scholarship program, Citizens Electric awards a total of $8,000 in scholarships to students within its six-county service territory. Individual $1,000 scholarships are presented to graduating seniors who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to their communities.
Eligible applicants must live within the Citizens Electric service territory, have a parent or legal guardian who is a current member, and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Applications must include a completed form, high school transcript, one letter of recommendation from outside the school system, and a 500–750-word essay or two-minute video describing current leadership roles and how the scholarship will support future community leadership.
