Citizens Electric Corporation is proud to recognize, Board Director, Rodney Sherer for earning the Director Gold Certificate, the highest level of achievement in the NRECA director education program.

The Director Gold credential recognizes directors committed to continuing their education beyond the Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD) and Board Leadership Certificate (BLC) programs and who desire a tangible credential that demonstrates their ongoing commitment to advancing their knowledge and performing their duty to the best of their ability.

Rodney earned this distinction by completing a two-day, in-depth module focused on leading among equals, offered through NRECA in partnership with FCC Services. The training explores leadership styles, board dynamics, and effective facilitation skills. Equipping directors to strengthen their board service and enhance cooperative governance.
